Before your acupuncture or herbal treatment, all patients require consultation. It is very necessary for me to know all your past health history and what current you are doing. Consultation includes history taking, a review of your most recent lab work or an exam relate to fertility. I will come up with TCM diagnosis and treatment plan. In an hour's visit ( Zoom video meeting) I will teach you how to do basal body temperature and how to use it to estimate the ovulation and your fertile window. We will go over what blood work and physical exams you need to do. Nutrition and exercise advice will be given. I will explain how and what is my plan to optimize your and your partner's reproductive health. I will explain to you my treatment protocol in addition to listening to your specific concern. We are partners and we will work very closely. My personal text is always open for support. My fertility treatment is to prepare men and women to optimize their reproductive systems ready to conceive a baby. Acupuncture prescription will base on the phase of the menstruation cycle follow of my fertility protocol treatment. The treatment goal is to improve the quality of the eggs and sperm. For women, we are stimulating the growth of the egg, so they can mature and ovulate. For Men, we boost man's qi and fire gate energy to improve sperm quantity and mobility. Laser therapy and an electric stimulator are additional tools that help blood circulation, stimulate follicle growth and facilitate ovulation, and thicken the uterus lining to help embryo implantation. Patients are recommended to have 1-2x per week visits to optimize each phase of the cycle. IVF retrieval or transfer preparation may require more visits per week. I will follow your IVF clinic calendar to alter my Treatment. For IUI and IVF candidates, it is best to come 2-3 months earlier before your actual procedure to prepare yourself for the optimal result.
